Message from Imam Bassirou Lo
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
All praises are due to Allah, peace be upon His messenger
Muhammad (s.a.w)
Dear brothers and sisters,
I would like to thank you for visiting the Murid Islamic
community site. I hope that each one of you will learn something
from it. I also hope it will shade light on the peacefulness
of Islam, of his messenger, and the role the servant of the
prophet has done in showing how one can be on the service
of Allah without using violence, or destructing the peaceful
living of innocent people. Whatever you will learn here about
the life of our Master Shaykh Ahmadou Bamba (r.a.) ,(the Shaykh),
you should follow it if you want to benefit from it.
The Shaykh wanted to clarify to humanity the true message
Allah (s.w.a) sent through his messenger Mohammed (s.a.w)
in the Holy Quran and the way the Prophet (s.a.w) lived on,
which is narrated in the Sunnah. It is this teaching that
the venerated Shaykh Mouhammadou AlMourtada Mbacke (“Shaykh
Moutada”), Shaykh Ahmadou Bamba’ son, came here
to deliver, reiterate and explain, because that is what he
committed to his lord to fulfill. To help convey the message,
a house of Islam project was initiated in 1994 and inaugurated
in July 2001. You will find the different services provided
by the house of Islam in this website.
Today this House of Islam is blooming like a morning flower
that has just seen the sun. In order to keep this house alive
until the judgment day, we need everyone’s support.
The support could be material, financial, or professional.
And Allah said in the surat AL-Baqqarah, 2:261 : “ The
likeness of those who spend their wealth in the Way of Allah,
is as the likeness of a grain (of corn); it grows seven ears,
and each ear has a hundred grains. Allah gives manifold increase
to whom He pleases. And Allah is all-Sufficient for His creatures’
needs , All-Knower.”
May Allah bestow upon us his mercifulness and guide us to
the right path.
